User data deletion
Last updated August 24, 2026 · VS The World Productions
VERZUZ stores social connections per brand so a team can publish only from the Page, channel, or account they connected. This page is the public instructions URL for Meta, TikTok, and anyone who needs a non-login way to request deletion.
Disconnect inside VERZUZ
- Sign in at verzuz.ai (invite-only workspace).
- Select the brand in the header.
- Open Brands → Connections.
- Click Disconnect on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, or LinkedIn. That revokes the encrypted token for that brand only.
- To stop Buffer publishing, revoke the brand's Buffer keys on Brands (Buffer remains the fallback publisher until native send is live).
Disconnect on the platform
- Facebook / Instagram / Threads: Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites → remove VERZUZ. Requesting deletion there POSTs to our callback at
https://verzuz.ai/api/data-deletion. - Google / YouTube: Google Account → Third-party access → remove VERZUZ / the YouTube grant.
- TikTok, X, LinkedIn:revoke the app in that platform's authorized-apps settings, then Disconnect in VERZUZ if the card still shows Connected.
Email us
If you cannot sign in, email seth@vstheworldproductions.com with the email on the VERZUZ account and which brands / platforms to disconnect. We will revoke matching brand-scoped tokens and confirm. We do not sell this data. We cannot delete copies already published on social networks — remove those posts on the platform.
What we delete
When a valid deletion request is processed we:
- Revoke encrypted native OAuth tokens for the matching Facebook / Instagram user on every brand that stored that connection.
- Stop using those tokens to publish. Other brands you did not connect stay as they are.
A full VERZUZ account wipe (login, media, drafts, chat) is a workspace request to the address above — it is not implied by removing the Facebook app.
Meta callback
App Dashboard field: Data Deletion Request Callback URL. Value: https://verzuz.ai/api/data-deletion. Instructions URL (this page): https://verzuz.ai/data-deletion. The callback verifies Meta's signed request, starts revocation, and returns a confirmation code plus a status link back to this page.
